You would not have read this far without an interest in becoming a Fix-I.T. Associate. Please note that it takes a high level of skills and strong personal desire to become a business owner nowadays. A typical Fix-I.T Associate is above and before all a dedicated Technologist. We are proud of this title and we work hard in giving it a good reputation. We all are different, though we all have in our profile similarities:
- Focused and enthusiastic - This is the most important factor, way beyond technical abilities. Once out there, you won't have a boss looking over your shoulder, telling you what to do. You should have a skipper type of mentality.
- Interested in Technology - This does not mean knowing all about Microsoft, in fact we try to keep the scope of our skill-set as wide open as possible. "A bit of this with a bit of that so I can help my customer!"

Community Support - We have our own intranet in place to allow you to ask any questions you may have and to discuss issues direct with us and other members of our community.
Comprehensive Training - We do expect you to have some technical knowledge, but we will provide ongoing technical training. You'll also be trained on basic accountancy, marketing, sales and soft skills.
Induction training - Within 30 to 90 days depending on your skills you could be running your own show with of course the governance of a Senior Fix-I.T. Technologist.

A commercially viable solution is a solution that will serve you best over time. It's the right mix between quality and the budget we are given to work around the issue. We are not IT hardware or software merchants, this means that any equipment that you need is always purchased on your behalf at the best price for your business. Our code of conduct is more or less the same as one dictated by an employer-employee relationship. |
